“Design an apple face watch that symbolizes an element of time”

During the pandemic, the notion of time and space were altered. Studying and working across time zones was frequent, each in the confines of their own home.

This dual design offers a matching watch faces with one other, communicating mood through color. The watch is minimalist: minutes are the same.  Hours are denoted by both digital and anlogue means (digital number in analogue placement). The other’s time zone hour denoted by a dot. Each user communicates their emotional state through a color wheel which syncs to the other’s screen. As colors are attached to universal messaging, certain colors would trigger other forms of communication such as a check-in call or a quick message.
